- COLOUR MATCHING: There are 44 shades in this foundation, so you will most likely be able to find your shade! I have tan skin with olive undertones, and in the picture, I am wearing the shade 10N. It is usually a struggle for me to find the perfect shade in a foundation. I did go through the same struggle trying to determine what shade I would be. I checked online, and also visited a Sephora store. The colour I have is still a little yellow for me, so I have to add a couple drops of another product to make the undertone more neutral. I would strongly advise visiting your local Sephora or a Charlotte Tilbury store to get colour-matched. Even if you know your shade in another one of Charlotte Tilbury’s foundations, your shade in the Airbrush Flawless Foundation might be different.
- THE ACTUAL FINISH: The foundation is marketed as a matte formula, and I don’t find it drying at all (like most matte foundations). It feels hydrating, but doesn’t look overly dewy. The matte-ness reminds me of CT’s matte lipsticks – that are not drying at all! I LOVE the finish, and I’m not usually a fan of matte anything! It’s extremely comfortable on the skin, and blurs out imperfections. I really can’t complain about a product that makes me look photoshopped, without actually having to photoshop…
- FOUNDATION ITSELF: The foundation is thicker in texture, as it is meant to be a full-coverage foundation. You can easily sheer it down using a moisturizer if you wanted to. I know people usually associate full coverage foundations with feeling heavy on their skin. This foundation however, feels very lightweight and truly does make your skin look airbrushed.
- FINAL THOUGHTS: I’ve tested this foundation out for 4 weeks now, and my thoughts haven’t changed. Despite me struggling to find the perfect colour match, it’s an amazing foundation and really does make my skin look smooth and flawless. My makeup wears beautifully, and it photographs so nicely! Definitely in my top two foundation list!
